Over the last decade plus, the Southeast has blossomed into a hotspot for design, architecture, creativity and industry innovation. Despite waves of uncertainty in a variety of forms throughout the pandemic, from those of us on the front line we are pleased to report that the Southeastern design community is absolutely booming.

It has been truly unbelievable to watch our field step up to the plate, time and time again, across the world over. From celebrating diverse design talent, to creating forums for learning and community, and to sparking dialogue that considers the issues behind sustainability and project impact, our work does not stop. It only becomes more relevant, especially as we lean into a new and hopeful post-pandemic chapter. Our industry will continue to evolve to meet the challenges of the future. From designing homes that reflect our current and possible future work lives, to creating safe, ergonomic workspaces and products, and to developing strategies companies can use to pivot on a dime and stay relevant, our work is vital. As a community platform and agency, we are unique in bearing witness to the infinite intersections that exist across and within the industry. It’s a humbling yet inspiring place to be, and we welcome you to join us in these efforts.
